A New Creation
Near the end of a long and dreary winter in New Jersey, I had the pleasure of visiting family in Arizona. I went from 40 degree weather to 70 degree weather in just a few hours. Other than the temperature change and the brilliant sun, I quickly noticed the blooming flowers. How wonderful it was to see their radiant colors dancing in the sunlight.
Often times, my daily life can feel drab, dreary, and hard, especially when the focus is on myself and my problems. That's when I need to remember to turn towards the "Son" and let his love shine into my heart and onto all those seemingly hopeless situations. Through the power of the Resurrection, he makes all things new.
